Renew Dental was founded by Dr Inderpal Johal, known to her patients as Dr Indy, in August 2020. She built it from scratch during one of the hardest periods in recent history, driven by a simple idea: that patients in Walsall deserve a private dentist who genuinely cares.
Dr Indy holds a BDS with Honours from Cardiff, is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, and completed her MSc in Endodontology with Distinction at UCLan in 2024. She brings that level of expertise to every patient, whether you’re coming in for a check-up or something more complex.

Can I come in as a new patient for an emergency appointment?
Yes. You don’t need to be a registered patient at Renew Dental to be seen in an emergency. Just call us on 01922 636 222 or book online and we’ll do our best to get you in as soon as possible.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We aim to see emergency patients on the same day wherever we can. Monday and Wednesday evenings until 7:00pm give us extra capacity outside standard working hours, which helps a lot when something comes up during the day.
How much will an emergency appointment cost?
Emergency treatment is priced between £80 and £200, depending on what’s required when we see you. We’ll always tell you the cost upfront before any treatment begins, so you know exactly where you stand.
What should I do if I've knocked out a tooth?
Call us immediately on 01922 636 222. In the meantime, handle the tooth by the crown rather than the root, keep it moist (in milk or held gently in your cheek), and get to us as quickly as you can. The sooner we see you, the better the chances of saving it.
What if I'm nervous about coming in?
Tell us when you call or book. We work with anxious patients regularly and we’ll make sure you’re looked after properly from the moment you arrive. Dr Indy’s approach is calm, unhurried and straightforward. You’re in good hands.
